the BEGINNING.
So I got into photography when I was a kid because of spider-man (yes I am a nerd deal with it lol) and I started it because I wanted to be like Peter Parker at the daily bugle (minus the raging asshat that is Jameson) taking epic photos In a city, so when I picked up my first camera from a yard sale in the passthrough town that I grew up in (not joking, if you are driving through it and you blink once you will miss the entire town) I was excited to start taking photos, it was a old Fugifilm 35mm film camera (the St801 I believe) that looked exactly like the one from the comics and shows with silver on top and bottom and black in the middle, it had the name Fujica on it which they were going by at that point, and a roll of film all of which was sadly lost in my first house moving and I did not get back into it until high school where I was in a nice film class that I loved and learned a lot from, that was until they cut the funding for it to give it to the failing american “football” team at our school (whom still sucked even after cutting all of our worthwhile classes for that garbage). it was not until 2-3 years ago that I finally got back into photography full time and finally decided to turn my passion for it into my career.

so it has been a while since I have posted (a whole month), a lot has happened since then, I ended up homeless (twice now) and for the next few days I still am 9while sleeping on small metal chair), I also traveled to NYC and am currently in the city (Manhattan), and have a cool housesitting gig coming up, and even with all of this happening I still find time to take epic photos so if you are struggling with finding time just know there is always time if you just take the time to do it.
BTW if you are looking for some cool spots around NYC to do shoots here are some of my suggestions: Bryant park (it backs up to the epic NYC public library… the one from Ghostbusters.), anywhere in Queens is awesome (bit of a spider_man bias from me there), 5th & 6th & 7th as well as Broadway at night are cool (Times Square is near there as well), also if you are brave (or crazy) enough to do it, Central Park at night is something from what I hear (also the plaza hotel is right there (the one from home alone 2)), Empire State is cool as well and there are some cool plant sots at the bottom of the building if you know where to look, China and Korea town are also epic both at night and during the day, also little Britain (not the tv show lol) is cool and there are some shops where you can get some epic UK foods like Haggis ( though very expensive ($18 a can in the us FML)) and the always worth the price (no matter what it is) Tunnocks Carmel wafer bars (a personal fav from the UK), also near there in Tribeca is a cool “hidden” place to take shots called staple alley by some (see gallery for my color shot and the B&W shot of it), but that’s it for now and remember NEVER GIVE UP SHOOTING.
